Drawing influence from Mexican architecture and restaurant’s laid back coastal surroundings, Bondi is the Mexican restaurant Fonda’s first location outside of Melbourne. Designed by the up-and-coming Studio Esteta, the interior of Fonda Bondi plays luscious terracotta tones against speckled tiles and warm wood paneling. If you can eyes off the interior, the menu isn’t half back either, mixing Mexican street food with the freshest Australian ingredients. Of course, there’s aguas frescas and margaritas to wash it all down too.
