If you’re looking for something arty to do in London this week, why not head on over to Frameless Gallery in Farringdon to see what the latest generation of budding artists at Central Saint Martin’s and Chelsea College of Art & Design have been getting up to?

The renowned colleges have long histories and have produced countless notable alumni. From CSM, notable graduates include the artists Lucian Freud and Victor Pasmore, as well as musician Jarvis Cocker and legendary actor John Hurt. CCA, meanwhile, produced Turner Prize-winning artist-turned-director Steve McQueen (Hunger, Shame), as well as actor Ralph Fiennes and much-loved illustrator Quentin Blake.

The variety of works on display – from 11 promising young artists in a variety of mediums – all deal with the idea of space as “a product of representation”.

The exhibition, entitled Trace, runs from Monday 5th March to Saturday 10th, with opening hours from 11-7 each day.
