The London List: David Mikhail Architects craft the most wonderfully open space in the heart of HoxtonThe London List

By Sam Bathe on 13 May 2013

Though they were only employed to actually extend the existing property by 1m, David Mikhail Architects‘ renovation of the rear of Hoxton House completely overhauled the space. A traditional four-storey terraced house, David Mikhail lowered both the garden and the basement before adding a two-storey “glass box” to the rear of the house. With light spilling into the rest of the house through the double height kitchen/dining room, bringing life to the fantastic new mezzanine.
