The London List Abroad: The Glacier Skywalk tests your nerves whilst giving breathtaking views of the Canadian RockiesThe London List

By Sam Bathe on 9 May 2014

At the heart of the Canadian Rockies, the Glacier Skywalk jets out 30-metres from the cliff’s edge, above a 915ft drop to the ground. With a glass-bottomed floor, the Skywalk allows visitors a unique 360° view of the beautiful Jasper National Park, though you’ll need nerves of steel to look down. A steel and wood construction helps the walkway structure blends into its surroundings, with the project close to a zero carbon footprint. The Glacier Skywalk opened May 1st and will set visitors back $24.95, head to their site for more details: www.glacierskywalk.ca
