Alongside ringing ears, a lot of screen-printed posters and a broken suitcase, from our recent trip to SXSW in Austin then LA, most significantly we brought back a love of frozen yoghurt.

In LA you can get it everywhere. Pinkberry are nationwide, Red Mango were first on the scene, but Yoghurtland steals the show with handful of different flavours and a ton of self service toppings. Sure, the UK doesn’t really have the same climate as LA and America, but the UK has been deprived of frozen yoghurt for some time. Itsu have been having a go the last few months, but their service is put to shame by its Stateside counterparts. Enter Snog.

With stores across the UK and more opening in the coming weeks, Snog, at last, can give you a fix. With three different flavours and multiple topping to choose from, it might not be Yohurtland, but it’s a pretty decent effort.

For those living in London, there’s a store just opened in the hears of Soho and a Covent Garden location is opening soon. Put it this way, we’re already regulars.

FAN THE FIRE is a digital magazine about lifestyle and creative culture. Launching back in 2005 as a digital publication about Sony’s PSP handheld games console, we’ve grown and evolved now covering the arts and lifestyle, architecture, design and travel.
