Only 8 more days to go until the best line-up of all time! Bloc is coming to London and leaving it’s holiday home behind. To say that we are excited would be an understatement.

This year Bloc have been working closely with some of our friends at Shangri-La, who had the most epic stage at Glastonbury (unanimous votes), to make an even bigger stage for Bloc; the mammoth dome, called the ‘Hub’, is said to have a 30m span. The main arena will be constructed from shipping containers, although most excitingly, Bloc marks the festival debut for the newly opened East London space, the London Pleasure Gardens.

The sound set-up should blow your socks off with amphitheatres acoustically lined and a liquor licence until 6am. The mega line-up includes Orbital, Flying Lotus, Battles, DOOM, Gary Numan, Steve Reich (!!), Four Tet, Jeff Mills, Scuba, Nathan Fake, Snoop Dog, Amon Tobin: ISLAM, Richie Hawtin, and so many more. Are you excited yet?

Bloc 2012 is on 6-7th July at the London Pleasure Garden
